Job description:
Currently we are looking for future award winning individuals with a passion for service, outgoing personalities, and the drive to be the best.
- 7 am – 2 pm (beginning and or ending times may vary).
- All Servers are trained in Room Service Delivery.
Job Responsibilities include:
- Servers are responsible for serving the guests and providing an excellent experience by anticipating needs and sharing unexpected delights.
- Describing items on the menu including ingredients and preparation method as well as alterations to accommodate dietary restrictions.
- Communicate specific orders to the kitchen and bartender with accuracy.
- Work with a team to ensure seamless and flawless timing to the flow of the meal.
- Clearing dishes throughout the meal to ensure comfort to the guests and maintain the flow.
- Follow all Marriott brand standard steps of service including using the guests name and meeting specific time frames for each step of the meal.
- Be able to execute wine service including the presentation, opening and sampling of the wine.
- Perform all side work responsibilities including cleaning of work space and preparation for the next shift.
- All servers are to be trained in delivering room service shifts and will be scheduled in the area.
Should have at least 1 year experience of serving in an upscale dining restaurant.
MUST have or be able to obtain a TABC Certification.
